Question. What actors were considered to the role of Grandpa besides Al Lewis?? Surely there had to be other actors who auditioned for the role, so who were they?? Please find out and post it here. Thank you

The only one I know for certain was Bert Lahr (best known as the Cowardly Lion from
The Wizard of Oz
). In fact he was offered the role but turned it down.
