This was one of our fav summer monster movies on Armed Forces TV back in the 70's. We used to scream like crazy when they showed the skeleton on the raft.
Nice to see it on AMC-HD, but it was terribly edited and shortened. Violent scenes were cut, the famous red colorized scene was not there, and the Nazi flashback was totally eliminated.
