The only scene I remember was when a very large bald man attacked Inspector Clouseau and a woman (blond I think) on the street at night. Could anyone give me
the title of that movie.

Sounds like Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978), with Dian Cannon. Not my favorite of the series, but it's still pretty good, and it has Tanya, the Lotus Eater.
