      I really liked Hercule as a foil for Clouseau, also. I wish they'd kept that character for the later films.

          The nudist colony was the best scene in the film and Lom and Kwouk had little/nothing to do with it. That and the running gag with not having proper licenses.
          But of course the supporting cast were also sensational in their scenes.

            The standout set pieces that really make the movie, in my opinion (the opening, the nudist colony, the assassination attempts and the finale) have nothing to little to do with Lom or Kwouk. As great as Sellers is, this is really a director's movie more than other installments. Those sequences are some of the best of their era.

                I love the scene leading up to the interview with Maria and when he's interrogating her. When she rips his jacket arm off! It's so funny!
