I met the woman that I married the night this movie premiered on TV. I know it was either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night and I am pretty sure it was in February or March of 1971. I have tried all kinds of searches to no avail. I am in the dog house until I can get the answer. Please help

The only way I think you could find the answer is if a library near you has The New York Times on microfilm. Back in those days, the Times used to have a TV listing on its back page for New York City broadcasters including the three national networks. It would take time but you'd have to look on every day you think it might have been broadcast.

I believe it was shown on TV before 1971. There used to be a rule stating that theater releases could not be aired on TV till five years after they were released in theaters. Not sure when that was lifted. I remember watching the movie with my father one evening when my mother was in night school. She graduated in 1970 and went to school on week nights so either your memory or mine (and that is certainly possible) are bad, or different networks aired it at different times.
