How would you have ended captain scarlet?

lets face it, inquisition was a good episode but more of a penultimate than a finale. If you had the choice for the final ever episode of captain scarlet what would it have been? the episode crater 101 i think it was called when they blow up the mysteron complex, that would've been a good ending. but it could be a total original ending you guys could say.

I was thinking about this recently, and I thought a good final episode would be that the Mysterons threaten to destroy Captain Scarlet, knowing that he is the Earth's best weapon against them. Everyone hears the threat and dismisses it seeing as they know that Scarlet is indestructible. But then the Mysterons start attacking things and people very dear to Scarlet- his home, family, friends- perhaps even framing him for murder or some other great crime. It would eventually lead to a showdown on Mars, perhaps with Scarlet even coming face-to-face with the Mysterons themselves. I think it would end with the death of Scarlet and what seems like the defeat of the Mysterons, finally ending the war of nerves.
Mind you, that might all be a little dark for a "kids" show

As dark as it is, great ending! although because it was the 60s, they probably would've done some sort of 'james bond attack on the mysteron base' style ending lol with the leader of the mysterons being killed by scarlet or something

Chris Bishop's Spectrum Headquarters Website (celebrating its tenth anniversary as of this writing) generously let me end the series with a coda, as I'd wanted to do since first viewing "The Inquisition". Many others there have kept the series going. I recommend the site's "Fan Fiction".

Cut out the 'it was a dream' cop out ending to Attack on Cloudbase and end it with the Mysterons winning.
