That would be 'The Inquisition' - where Captain Blue wakes up on Cloudbase and is interrogated by a man who claims to be from Spectrum Intelligence, and who believes Blue is an imposter. Blue tells of a few incidents he's been through with Spectrum (clips from past episodes) to try to prove he is who he says he is, but the SI agent still doesn't believe him, and says that the only thing that can truly prove his identity are the Spectrum cipher codes. Blue finally realises that the man is a Mysteron, and throws himself out of the control room porthole rather than tell the Mysterons the codes.
However, 'Cloudbase' is just a mock-up of the control room in a warehouse, and he's able to get clear as Scarlet arrives in an SPV and blows the place to pieces. How Scarlet knew where he was is never explained.
Yeah, it was a clip show. But a good clip show.

Hate to break it to you, but in the dvd box set its a normal episode. To make things worse its one where SPECTRUM LOSES the mission.
Yeah, I don't think the series was planned to end like that. Its kind of dissapointing.

In the U.S. A&E always puts the shows on DVD in the order they were intended to be shown. Sometimes, an episode gets moved by the networks for whatever reason. So going by the DVD's the last episode was "Inferno".
In inferno, the mysterons take control of a manned space craft loaded with explosives on it's way to destory a dead rocket in space. They turn it arround and send it back to earth. This time they are going to destory a desalination plant. They use Captain Black to plant a homming device into a old Aztec temple overlooking the plant all the while spctrum is looking for the threat on the ground. In the end, Scarlet finds out that the homming device is in the temple and has the angles destory the temple. They just dont make it in time and the craft crashes into it and causes a landslide that wipes out the plant. Thats how the orginal series ended.

i thought it was a dissapointment to the end of the series, personally if cloud base attack (the 2nd to last episode) i think would be a better ending, or anything to beat the inquistion

Not according to the DVD boxset I've just watched - The Inquisition is the last episode.
Just like with The Thunderbirds, the show was just finished/cancelled by the production company, and Andersons and their team went on to make another show (Joe 90 maybe?). Thunderbirds was cancelled and, while working on Thunderbirds are Go and Thunderbird 6 movies, one part of the team was working on Captain Scarlett.
So, no wrapup endings to either series, which is kinda good, since they were getting a bit stale and repetitive.
