"The moments of love are the only moments that matter; the moments of love illuminate and are lost" (when she's on her death bed and talking to Clayton Jr)
"Live alone. Oh, its so important to live alone"(same scene)
I also liked the times Christian referred to Holly as 'Kaeresta'. It was so sweet.
    I love Lana Turner

"The road between me and respectability is strewn with broken bottles." I mean, Lana is no great thespian, but who could pull that one off?

Even if some clever attorney manages to get you off
"You should have stayed on the other side of the counter"
That's what I came here to write. You beat me to it. LOL

VERY memorable line. What a colossal bitch that mother-in-law was! Yet, at the end, in the courtroom, you can see tears in her eyes; she had presumably come to realize what damage she had wrought.

"Never end on a dangling insult" trumps Montalban's "bitter taste" comment for me.

Forsythe to Bennett: ''Mother, there aren't enough icicles on your side''. Boy, is HE clueless!.
