    any ideas on which glass/mirror/whatever thing he used for the title sequence to achieve that analogic distortion?

      As a huge Saul Bass fan, I have to say that I was disappointed with his work on Seconds. I don't know how much he had to to with the "analogic" distortion background but the lettering work lacked the Saul Bass identity - it could have been done by anyone.
      This must be the least "Bass-ish" title sequence of all his output.
