^Wow! I was wondering if they were the geese in The Aristocats! They laughed just like them! Funniest scene in the film is when Jack lights her cigarette and she moves back really fast so he doesn't clamp it again!

I love the look on the face of the red-haired one when Oscar flirts with her. She repeats the expression twice.
As strong as the leads are in this movie and I can think of few other films where the leads were better the supporting cast was amazing as well. This is classic filmmaking where everyone appears to be perfectly cast, the sisters included.

Yeah the entire supporting cast in this movie is fantastic, they're all hilarious in their own way.
I just love when Felix blurts out "yeah they say it may rain Friday" and the awkward silence that ensues.
Comedy gold. Or how about when the Coo Coo's and Felix are crying rivers of tears and Oscar bursts into the room with the drinks and shouts out "Is everybody happy?!".
        The Odd Couple
is one of the funniest movies ever made, and what's great about it is it's still just as funny some 40+ years later, absolutely brilliant.

I love that awkward scene when Felix can't think of anything to talk about but the weather, and he winds up destroying the conversation! This film is a textbook case of how to write a script and hot to execute sight gags. The timing, the chemistry, the casting everything is perfect here. If I had time, I'd watch this film once a week, or maybe more.

It is the quintessential comedy film isn't it? And absolutely all of the comedy in the film is about things that we still relate to some 40 odd years later, amazing stuff.

Indeed. I relate to this film a lot more than anything Judd Apatow or any of the other flavors of the year have put out.

The Pigeon Sisters (Monica Evans as Cecily and Carole Shelley as Gwendolyn) were the same actresses for the play, movie and TV show. They made a few appearances during the first season of the TV show. Their characters were phased out by the end of the first season.

I just played Cecily so of course I love them. Audience members kept telling me the play was starting to drag a little and then we girls came on and the place was in hysterics! I do not think the play or movie drags at all. Very smart and funny!

When the sisters were talking naughty to Felix and Oscar they kind of reminded me of Austin Powers.

They were awesomeespecially Gwendolyn. I love it when Oscar asks what the "beautiful mother hen" wants to drink and she goes "Ooh, um. Ooh, um" and does a cute squint when she makes that sound. HAHAHAHA! I don't know why but her repeating this makes me happy.
