I'm looking for
movie about pirates
. I remember only ending scene : main evil pirate drifts on a log (ship was destroyed in explosion effect) and shouts : "I'm still alive !". Then, sea monster kills him and pull under the water.
Probably, it was adventure film from 90's or 2000's
, USA. I remember treehouse as well.
NEW INFO :
I think that important information is fact that film is set in modern time (90. or 2000's), but pirates are only short episode. Maybe there were bandits, similar to modern pirates. Something like "The Journey to Centre of Earth".

Thanks for suggestions. I'm pretty sure that there weren't any dwarfs or magic creatures (except sea monster). It could be mini-series, not movie. I'm sure that actors spoke English language. I was searching my old movie database (movies, which I watched), but I didn't find nothing. Perhaps pirates were only short episode of whole movie.

I agree Hutch48-2 with you about Cutthroat Island. I was about ten when it came out and remember seeing the trailers and tv making-of at the time but didn't go to see it. I got to see it on DVD years later and thought it was wonderful. Shame it was a box office failure. Much better than the Pirate Of the Caribbean franchise.

Probably not this one but TH3E SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON, 1960, features pirates; however I cannot recall any sea monster.

It's very good guess, but I don't know why I remember (100%) sea monster. It could be something from 90's, because I remember better colours.

The ending sounds like a comedy, but there aren't a whole lot of pirate comedies.
It's been a few years last time you were on this board. I thought you went through all the movies you couldn't remember.

You're right. It could be comedy film, perhaps pirates are only short theme. I give easy example:
"Mysterious Island" (1961)
is adventure movie, but there are pirates as well, although it isn't typical pirate movie.

Unfortunately, it isn't any of them. I know "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen" and I'll check "A Kid in Aladdin's Palace" and "The Goonies" (because I didn't know).

. I believe there is a giant so big he wears a full sized ship on his head which rise out of the ocean when he comes to shallow water.
