Daley had complete control of situation!!
Unlike the current mayor who allows the killings in Chicago to go unchallenged. -

Shirley, you can't be serious! The cops were totally out of control.
I suppose you think he ordered all that disorder on the part of his police?
Then he had to try to explain himself afterward.
And he famously said: "The policeman isn't there to create disorderhe's there to preserve disorder." Look it up.
Rightthe mayor ALLOWS the killings to go on and on.
The gangbanging and the Convention riots are apples and oranges.
What should he do? Call out the National Guard?
Chicago is too big to lock downand they'd have to be on duty FOREVER.
