              Beautiful film about friendship
              'I got family gdmanit!'
The film resonates so well because in spite of it being a wonderful late 60's study of New York and its peoples, Schlesinger maintains the focus on the endearing relationship between the two men.

The friendship between the two main characters gave this film its heart and overall resonance.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
