      A guy at ioffer.com has a DVD set of 14 episodes for sale-but BEWARE ! I bought
this little collection from him. STRANGE. About half of the episodes are uncut
from the ABC vaults-the other episodes are from an F/X run of the series. They
ARE cut & even have many commercials present. Not too bad cover & disc art-for
a BOOTLEG JOB. But the 3 DVD set costs $24.00 + $6.00 for shipping. I would
recommendNO. I don't think it was worth it. I'm sharing this with you partly
because you replied to my post about Trent Lehman's tragic suicide. I would wait for a legitimate DVD release which could still be coming. As aunt Daphne
always used to say, "Oh What a Tangled Web We Weave, When a Bootleg Job is What
      You'll Receive"..

Thanks for the good info. I will take your good insight and words of wisdom.
I'm not sure if I mentioned it but I did some research. Former child star Paul Peterson has formed a watch dog group for former child actors
Its called a minor consideration. I checked out his website and it was excelent. I highly recommend checking out his posted writtings on varous childhood actors.
In some of his writtings he sights trent's suiacide as a deciding factor in his starting a minor consideration.
The sight and his articles are well worth reading.
Hey Jeffery. Can I ask you a quick question.
Was Trent's character Butch the older of younger brother on the show.
        It's been so many years.
        Cheers
        Steve

          Steve,
Butch was the younger brother. Hal ( David Doremus ), was the oldest.
Kim Richards made her acting debut here, as little Prudence.
Another child star you might want to look up is Brandon Cruz, who played Eddie
on "The Courtship of Eddie's Father" for 3 years, with Bill Bixby. Brandon is
very much into "A Minor Consideration". He is a child star success story & has
a son named Lincoln Bixby Cruz, in honor of his TV dad.

Thanks Jeffery. I have been interested in learning more about that guy.
I guess Brandon Cruz became the new lead singer of the Dead Kennedys.
I am very curious abuot how courtship of Eddie's Father affexted him.
I guess Brandon wrote a punk song about it.
I would love to hear it.
            Cheers
            Steve
P.S. Have you seen Balck Sanke Moan. Kim Richards make her return to acting as the mains characters mother. They have a big fight seen in a store.

Nanny and the Professor is included in the TV shows on hulu.com. Just watched part of an episode. I liked this show as a kid, but it really seems dated now.

Yes, but that's what I like about it actually.
Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!

I vaguely remeber it. The doll was for Prudence the little girl. It was a beautiful old doll with a glass head.
The boys accidentally broke it and were trying to fix it. They took the doll to the a man who specialized in repairing dolls.
The repairman couldn't fix the dolls glass head, he offerd to put on a plastic head.
I remember the doll had some kind of magic, or some acient history because there was a sceen where the brothers were in bed. The brohters had twin beds in there room.
One brother heard some kind of singing about the doll and a queen. So he woke up his older brohter who told him he was nuts and to go to sleep.
Then the singing started again so the younger brother hid under the covers.
In the end of the episode the brother got a phone call and the doll magicaly fixed itself.
So they returned it to the sister. The Doll repairman was amazed.
The Nanny jsut kind of smiled and winked at evertbody.

I vaguely remember that episode too! I remember sort of being frightened by it, since I was little. However, it was that same episode that led me to watch others!

Ironiacally enough, I believe it was the first episode I saw.

Yes! I remember that episode too. The doll sang "God save the Queen".

Sadly, it was the very last episode of the series.
