What was the logo on Ronnie's bass drum during the rehearsals in LA? It certainly wasn't Ludwig, as he didn't have those until 1974.

Well to your first question the logo on tutt's bass drum I think is Premier.Have you noticed one thing at the rehearsals in LA he's playing on a single bass drum set and at the concerts he plays on a Double bass I wonder why he swiches. And to your second question believe it or not he started playing Ludwig in late '70 or early '71. I hope this answered your question.

I wonder if that double bass set was a Premier also man those basses were small (probably 20 inchers)! I think the 1970 Las Vegas shows were the only time we saw this set, I was looking at some Elvis concert pics taken later in 1970 and Ronnie now had a metallic blue kit, (a Ludwig I think). IIRC he had it (the metallic blue one) 'till mid 1974 (you'll see the blue kit in Elvis On Tour and Aloha from Hawaii)and then got that chrome Ludwig set, which he had until Elvis's final concert in 1977.
