Especially if other factors remind you of them. For example my dad's a football guy and so when I watch football I'm kind of having a conversation with him because we have different philosophies of the game and also anytime I'm watching the news I think of my mother because she was a News junkie and we've had our arguments and discussions so they keep going on in my head.

Yeah I've been there too but sometimes when you try to avoid them they still sleep into your head. I actually went two years without speaking to one of them.

I'm the opposite. No matter how much me and my mom might fight or exchange words we've never gone a long time without at least texting each other. My parents are not divorced but probably should be.
