It very well could have caused her death, but that was not part of the story line. There is much debate on whether Mario Lanza's phlebitis caused his death. A blood clot caused my mothers death as it lead to a fatal heart attack at age 82. Blood clots can cause either a heart attack or a stroke. The probablity of dying from either increases with age or factors like obesity in Lanza's case.

Got to see my son's new house before it was furnished. Wife and three kids will be moving in about a week. He has a great new job with six-figure potential.

lol that show was on almost daily when I was a youngen. I also remember other shows that were funny because of their lameness like Highway to Heaven, Matlock, Andy Griffith. If it was one of those lame syndicated shows, my parents were likely watching it.
