It was great. I only paid ten bucks for it. Still have it, but it's just gathering dust.

Right, but a vcr does the same thing, and you could've put that 10 bucks towards something else.

If I were to watch AITF, for example, in the show's actual running order, I'd be leaving stacks of tapes with the reels in the middle somewhere (I didn't have them recorded in that order) and instead of wearing out the VCR rewinding all that crap (not to mention I could watch a whole episode in the time it took for everything to be rewound) they'd be rewinding in the little machine.

I guess. Whatever floats your boat. Seems pointless.

            It was convenient.

My neighbor had a car tape rewinder. Like you put it in the good of a car, and it rewound the vhs.

Lol. Unless you're living in someone's garage, I fail to see the convenience of that!

It wasn't an actual car, silly. Like a tape rewinder shaped like a convertible or something.

Oh! Lol. It's kinda useless if you just watched like one movie, then rewound the tape. But I was surrounded by stacks of them with the reels in the middle somewhere.

That would've been a lot of abuse on my player.

No. Someday I'll see if I can do something with it, just to check out things I have on tape.

I don't see how, unless you go back in time and get a tube tv.

I have two VCRs that have the multi-colored tri-wire hookups.

Lol. I don't look or feel ready for the Old Folks Home. And I'm quite a ways from collecting social security (if the operation even still exists by then).
