                you also have to remember archie served in ww2 "the big one". probably got caught with his pants down over there in Italy.probably explains the shrapnel in the butt.

                    I remember Edith telling about a boy she dated and they spent a weekend at a cabin with his parents. Archie threatened to go and punch the guy in the nose:
                    Edith: "You can't."
                    Archie: "Why not?"
