The McLaughlin Group was still on the air until 4 months ago. It was cancelled a few days after John McLaughlin died in mid August. It had been on the air for 34 years.
I don't know what they have to say. It makes no difference anyway. Whatever it is, I'm against it. -

He was still the host up until the week before he died. The only episode he didn't host in the 34 year history of the show was the one that aired the week before he died of prostate cancer. He was producer of the show from the beginning also, but stopped producing it in 2008. He was 89 when he died so he would have already been in his 80s when he stepped down as executive producer.

Seriously??? It was still on the air? I thought it had gone away YEARS ago. My grandparents used to watch it religiously (well, my grandmother more than my grandfather). I tried to watch it sometimes when they did, but I guess I was just too young. I couldn't understand it. Especially the opening with them calling out numbers.
EMOTICONS ARE BACK! YAY! -

True.
And I still haven't seen any this season. I'm too disgusted at giving away my Comcast-owned DVR cable box that contained every new Simpsons episode from the past eight or nine seasons that won't be released on DVD for years to come.
