I love this movie. I can watch it over and over again.
    The plot
Its true life using real life content
    The production
But most of all for me the time frame and how the movie captured that.
Does anyone know any other movie that is similar that I may like.
    Set in the same era
produced close to real life in London or England
    Isn't a comedy.
    Is serious.
R.I.P Richard Attenborough who played the role remarkably.
The movies that are listed a on the page to say if you like this move you'll probably like these, seem American.
I have seen "A is for Acid Bath" also, which I liked, but nowhere as much as this. The production of that was more modern and over produced and had more of a upbeat tone. And certainly didn't show the place of reference in its real light.
I love these English movies, but as an Australian, all we get is American movies.

Such film adaptations are often done in British TV docudramas. In fact, a new TV drama is being made about the John Christie murders. Subject matters about and filmed in Britain may not be marketable outside of Britain, so some of these films may not be widely known or seen. Hence, they are often done on British TV. Also, it is more expensive to use real locations (or build sets to look like real locations) and maintain historical accuracy because of the amount of research and resources needed. That's why Hollywood is often more equipped to make these films (such as In Cold Blood, Zodiac, All the President's Men, etc.). There are some widely known British events that lend themselves to great docudrama films, such as Titanic, the Royal families, Jack the Ripper, and the likes, but you are probably not thinking of those. A film like 10 Rillington Place is rare indeed.
