I'm watching most of Fincher's films again, specifically
Se7en
,
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
, and even
Gone Girl
, and I don't know if it's just me, but I'm kind-of noticing some minor similarities they have with
Klute
. The mystery aspect, the look and feel to the films, the letters in
Gone Girl
, etc. You could quite possibly say that
Dragon Tattoo
is probably the closest we'll ever get to seeing a "remake" of
Klute
, in some form or matter. Of course on the
Se7en
commentary Fincher has said that the 1971 film influenced that film, but maybe it has had a bigger influence on Fincher's films that presumed.
It may be just me thinking it, but does anyone else notice some similarities?
