In some of Harold Lloyd's early (silent) films, he is simply "The Boy" and his love interest is "The Girl".

Actually, they had names, or at least nicknames. In the original script, the girl, the aborigine and the little boy are, respectively, "Tits," "Dong," and "Cute Hiney."
