The movie was okay, but I like the TV series better.

i used to like the TV series better, when I was young I was devoted to it. But in recent years I have wearied of hawkeye's unrelenting niceness, the way he is alwaays right about everything. These days, I prefer the film, witha less sanctimonious Hawkeye.

TV show. Movie was unnecessarily sexually vulgar.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

This is the only good thing about either one.

The movie. Because it was the original and had better actors, a '60s feel. The series dragged on for 10 years even though the actual war was 3.
The TV shows' 1st season was good, but then it got progressively worse. It jumped the shark after Colonel Blake died.
By the way I met Sally Kellerman a few years ago.

The TV show went on for years without any falling off of quality.
The movie was great, but we didn't get as involved with the characters as we did with the TV series.

                    TV show.
The movie was just silly stuff without any real character development.
And the football game was just dumb.
Like they would really do that!
