I used to post as Pablo_200. I posted a lot around 2007, 2008. I remember you. I remember you saying your wife was a big MAS*H fan, too, and that she was very saddened when Henry Blake died.

It's pretty sad, so many chats and threads. I know they have cleared boards a few times over the years as well but it was usually interesting reading people's take on films and TV shows.
Can't see myself using Facebook or Twitter etc.
So it's finally happened, the Trolls and SJW's have shutdown the message boards. -

I am so sorry that you feel the only people who would sympathize with Frank are alt-right fanatics when in fact very few are. Further, that you can not see the reason people disagree with Pierce's views and lastly that not one person here worships war. If there was a valid reason to believe in Pierce's views on a great matter of topics then most of us should have been sold on that long before there was ever a IMDb board to discuss it on. You also lead me to believe that given the viewpoint of most MASH devotees it will be in vain to join another board as there will be no deviation from loving Pierce and hating Frank. I think the uniqueness of this board made it one very interesting to follow for many people.

With the demise of the IMDb boards, maybe all of you Frank Burns-worshippers can meet up at some alt-right forum and hate Hawkeye Pierce and worship war there.

If anyone is in some fantasy, it was Hawkeye's irrational & unrealistic view that "if they just quit fighting, everything (in the world) would be fine"
Try telling that to the bully that presses you for all your milk money.
With Hawkeye's attitude, he wouldn't last an hour in the real world. -

I could see Hawkeye in one of the city-states that Rome overran (and enslaved) during the the 1st Century BC & AD:
"If you would just stop fighting."
preceded by his decapitation from a Roman sword.
I view Hawkeye more akin to
Nevile Chamberlain,
who erroneously believed appeasement would "end war with Hitler"
