Facebook has taken to asking for ID to try and stop people using fake names. But I do agree with you, there are many trolls and fakes on there too.
Sometimes a movie or tv show plot is so stupid that only the stupid can understand it. -

I hate FB anyway and I can't imagine any good chats coming from it, even on this site it was hard due to the trolls and PC nutters. On FB it would be even worse.
So it's finally happened, the Trolls and SJW's have shutdown the message boards. -

I liked this board because as long as what you said was intelligent people did not run you off. But it should also be said that it was not always like that especially when I first showed up. I suspect other boards will not tolerate any Pierce criticism nor like any Frank sympathy. Also, that Potter was not a soft administrator. I know that I am strong with my opinions and will argue at length but I never ran anybody off or went to the mods on IMDb.

So many of the boards here are a bit of a joke. If you say anything negative about a show you must be a troll, then all the SJW nutters calling everything racist, sexist etc.
I spent some time on the Brady Bunch board and everytime a fun thread was created it was shutdown as there is a member on there who would get IMDB to shut it down.
Not surprised they have decided it's easier not to have the forums. But can IMDB exist without them?

Yeah, and some shows have a brigade of users who poo on anything that disagrees with their views of it.
I visit This site for only a few reasons. One of them is when I'm saying, "Who is that guy?" Or "What else is he/she in?" The biggest reason I come here is to discuss things with others, especially when I don't understand something or spot something odd and want to see if others already noticed or had anything to say about it.
I blame autocorrect.

5 or 6 years ago Explorer thought he was the high mucky muck of the MASH board; I left for a couple of years because of it and he had an ongoing feud with another poster whose name I can remember but he left as well. He's mellowed out a lot since then though he does think highly of his own opinions. I have no problem with that since he doesn't try to dominate the board like he did then.
I thought this board pretty mellow, really. Home Improvement, for one, is horrible with anti-Jill SJWs who'll (who would?) report you if you dared defend her.
