Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Horror Express

I've thought for years that this is a great film and ripe for an homage within the infinitely flexible format of Doctor Who. Following lots of other classic horrors being similarly used to excellent effect by the series. So: the TARDIS materialises on a train (period setting always a good idea) there's a murderous (alien?) cargo competing forces among the passengers and all trapped in motion through bleak countryside etc
Then, this year, the episode Tooth and Claw actually reused one notable element of Horror Express' plot. (So far entirely unacknowledged and possibly even coincidental.) BUT it wasn't any of the above! The opportunity remains, therefore!

Hahaha I also thought of "Mummy on the Orient Express" when I read what the story was about and enjoyed the film anyway.
Jamie Lee Curtis survived Halloween, the Fog, Prom Night and a Terror Train & now she can't poop!
