Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Match Game

    ncoflin — 10 years ago(November 20, 2015 10:24 PM)

So I know the most regular panelists are no longer with us (Bret, CNR and Richard) but out of the panelist on the show who is still alive? I have been watching this on Buzzr a lot lately and it has me wondering.
The two most notable semi regulars living as of November 2015 would be Fannie and of course the timeless Betty White. Vicki Lawrence and Penny Marshall also make the list but were much less regulars. Who am I missing???

Just judging from the list of people on IMDb, the people who were on for at least 10 episodes, that are still alive (besides the one you mentioned) are
      Ann Elder
      Loretta Swift
      Gary Burghoff
      Jo Ann Pflug
      Patti Deutsch
      Joyce Bulifant
      Elaine Joyce
      Jimmie Walker
      Della Reese
      Adrienne Barbeau
      Bart Braverman

Only appeared for one week, I believe (unfortunate, because I thought he was surprisingly good), but baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Don Sutton is still alive.
(Edit: IMDb actually lists him as only appearing on one episode of the PM version, thought he did the day version too but could be wrong.)

In the same vein, fellow baseball player Joe Garagiola is still alive as well. Although he's almost 90!
He also holds the distinction of appearing on both the original Match Game in the 60s, and the better-known 70s version.

                Joe has since died.
I saw a few episodes with Don Sutton this past week. Very good and somewhat entertaining.
