I don't think many people will remember Rab c. nesbitt .. but rest assured it is a truly great sitcom! and i find it very easy to understand the glasgow dialect due to my frequent visits to scotland.

The Mighty Boosh - Not really my cup of tea, but frineds swear by it
Alan Partridge - Do I really need to comment on this? WOW
Filty Rich and Catflap - The move from Young ones to Bottom
Harry Enfield, Fast Show, Brittas Empire, One Foot in the grave, Keeping up appearences.I could be here all night, do yourself a favour and check some of this stuff out!!! -

I think that it is an insult that Steptoe And Son is not mentioned on any of the British comedy lists, one of the best british comedys of all time, if not the best.
