Thank you tommyuk! I scrolled through this whole thread confident that somebody must have corrected this idiot. I almost thought that I was gonna have the pleasure but at the very bottom was your post.
You would think that before someone goes posting accusations of plagiarism on IMDb, that person could do a little research. A simple Google search on some key words probably would have taken no more than 5 minutes of his time.

Aside from the inept soldiers dressed in white, I thought The Crazies shared some eerily similar traits with Star Wars. It had civilians rebelling against a perceived greater evil. One of the civilians looked a LOT to me like Han Soloweird, maybe just a coincidence, but still
And one of the rebel girls looked a LOT like a young Sissy Spacek, who any real Star Wars fan knows was the original choice to play Princess Leia.
Anyways, just my two cents
