By the time it hit an hour i was becoming EXTREMELY annoyed by the endless drums being played in the background, it was the same 3 second beat and they were repeating it for almost 2 hours. Anyone else think they should have used A LOT LESS endless background drumming?

I agree that there should have been less drumming, but I don't think it's as bad as you claim.

You know, I acually didn't mind the drumming. I thought it was a nice reminder of the military operation and the fact that the whole outbreak is due to the military. To be honest, it would haver been much more irritating having typical horror strings howling away in the background non-stop to try and build up big scares and put the audience on edge.

It was ****ing annoying, poor judgement, and seemed like Ed Wood ripping off 'Dr. Strangelove'.

Agreed! I saw this last night, not believing that it could as bad as some have said. I mean, it's George A. Romero making a movie about a virus making people crazyhow could it go wrong??? To my surprise, it was even
                    worse
than I had heard. This movie was utterly deplorable, so poorly made and so blatantly shameless (What was with not one, but TWO children finding their murdered mothers?). And the drumsoh, the drums. I felt like I was watching a military recruitment video from 1964.

I feel like a nice Goblin-esque score would have vastly improved the film. The drumming really began to bother me as well.
