What about the original version of the openeing credits?
It had an orginal instrumental song written specifically for the film, however I'm sure if it is indeed called the "Theme from Dillinger".
I've been looking everywhere for it and i can't find it. Can anyone help me out?

The original opening song was indeed a catchy and beautiful song but I can't find it eitherI ordered this song from a record store over years ago and the little 45 has disappearedgreat song but can't find info on it nowhere..

Which scene with Purvis? Give me a point of time into the movie and I'll slap my DVD in for reference.
Red River Valley is played during Homecoming when Johnny pays a visit to his dad and sister.
