Near the end of the film Peter Boyle's character meets with some other guys in a large clearing area close to some wateranyone know where this was shot?

Are you sure you aren't talking about Scalise (Alex Rocco) and the bank robbers? That is the beach in South Boston (I'm pretty sure but not 100%).
They met there and piled into one car and were on their way to the last heist attempt and "mention" Dillon but he wasn't there.
