this film played to full house [people sitting three deep in the aisles also] in the seventies and eighties in Romania. I saw it maybe 4 times at the cinemateque and i've been searching for it ever since they invented DVD's. I don't know how such classics are scheduled for release? We get a lot of trashy B-movies from the period and the great ones [Taking Off by Milos Forman, Voices and The Competition with Amy Irving, The Little Romance with Diane Lane, and so on] are ignored.
if you know how to find it, please give me a message at geondlc@yahoo.com -

Who do we write to to ask about this? I'd buy it, too, if it were available on DVD. The music from the film was awesome and I actually prefer Cliff de Young's version of "Lady" to John Denver's. I understand Bill Mummy was also in this film. I have always loved Cristina Raines, too. The film had a lovely charm that spoke to the heart. I never got to see it because I lived in Alaska the whole time and we didn't get that particular network in my town but the music was what turned me onto this movie. I bought the album and it had exerpts from the film as well as the music and I loved that record. I had it for years until it got too burdensome to keep vinyl LPs. If it were available on CD, I'd buy it, too. There must be somewhere to write to request they release this film on DVDand re-release the music on CD. Does anyone know where?
