½ S/N Asian (40%+ Chinese) ½ Norwegian/Danish-Irish Swiss (Amish/PA) German French Dutch? French+Dutch Celtic-Irish English-Irish?

ā 5 years ago(October 06, 2020 06:52 AM)The foreign exchange students where I live, except for mine, gained a whole lot of weight. They didn't like that they were fat. I think they all came here looking healthy and not very overweight, compared to some typical American teenagers.
I think they pigged out and ate a lot of fast food. They were there for the school year, coming the summer before.

ā 5 years ago(October 06, 2020 06:49 AM)Some people are probably secretly attracted to Europe. Older Americans tend to want to promote America, except in colleges they encourage everyone to study abroad, saying anyone can afford it.
If Europe is considered good and more "classical," if someone American likes it, why would other Americans think it be better if they just like America? What is the reason, question? or what do you think the reason is?
