    i'd venture that every 20 years nostalgia makes 40s people make movies and tv shows about when they were growing up 20 years before. but it definitely is a thing this making tv shows and movies about 20 years before the current time.

        The 50s were probably the best decade in US history. The 60s ruined it for the 70s. No wonder people wanted to go back.
        I was reminiscing about the 90s with some friends recently. We all would like to relive at least part of that decade.

              50's nostalgia was a hot trend in the 1970's.
