Sometimes I wish they would've continued to direction of the second and third tv-films. I would've loved to see
    Lee Majors
    play
    Steve Austin
    as a
    James Bond
-type of character. I wish they could've done two versions of the series, but that wouldn't be practical and would probably cost to much. Also the actors probably wouldn't want to do it either as I would want both versions to have the same actors. They wouldn't have (much, IF any) time for other things in their lives. Still I wonder what
    Steve
    "
    James Bond
    "
    Austin
    would've been like

The audience did not like the Bond character and the ratings for the next two movies went down. Harve Bennett came in and decided that it was all wrong. Mr Bennett admired Lee very much but said he was more a Gary Cooper character then a James Bond so they went back to the character from the first movie and the ratings took off. I think Lee was good as a Bond character but think they made the right decision because I can not see a bionic James Bond

I think Steve Austin character is too nice to be 007.
THE six Million Dollar Man does not kill anyone in the series.
Also James Bond has a ruthless character.

Yes he did mostly in the first episodes. Somebody once said they realized so many kids were watching they toned it down

                That was
                Kenneth Johnson
                in one of those
                DVD
                extras.

Hi there in my humble opinion myself as a young man growing up I well and truly enjoyed watching The Six Million Dollar Man (Lee Majors the Bionic Man, and of course the Bionic Woman, Jamie Summers. Both the TV shows of the Bionic Man and Bionic Woman, were in my humble opinion First Class Shows and clean and wholesome, no bad language; and well good all round show for all the family. And in closing I sure think that it should be back on TV again; Steve and Jamie what about it ? Would you like to see the good all round Bionic Man and Bionic Woman back on TV?
PS; and Lee Majors would again in my humble opinion would have made an awesome James Bond!!!
