    This is on BBC America right now, but along with editing the slurs, they sped up the soundtrack so much, everyone sounds like chipmunks.

      Are the spoken words not matching their lips when they speak?
      Otherwise I don't see how they can speed up a movie.

          They do that to put in more commercials.
          Which is why I do not watch movies on TV with ads.
          Because I really ****ing hate ads and speeding up is another good reason to watch commercial free movies.

                I don't get why they should sound high pitched. What they normally do is speed the film up, but digitally drop the pitch of the sound back to normal.
