Gourmet Night
. Basil giving his disobedient car "A damn good thrashing!".
2:
The Anniversary
: Basil attempting to neck a bottle of scotch, and having Manuel knock his arm and empty the entire liquor bottle over his head.
Classic physical slapstick, played with an edge of demented intensity that makes it at times incredibly dark as well as hilarious. -

Watched a TV special last night that ran through all the episodes picking out the best bits but with John Cleese choosing his favourite moment. His number one favourite moment was when Basil the Rat popped up in the biscuit tin.
