        Equally? Well, no Jews, Muslims, Buddhists or Sikhs have come to my door trying to convert me. None of the above have told my son he's going to hell because he wasn't baptized. None of the above have told me I'm going to hell because I have denied the Holy Spirit. None of the above have handed me their holy books as I entered my public college. None of the above drove a car into the front of a mosque in my hometown after 9/11.
        Shall I go on?

          And no "Christian" drove a car into the front of a mosque either. OTOH, I can name plenty of occasions of Christians being singled out for persecution and terror because of their faith, whether in the acts of violence committed in the Sudan, Iran and elsewhere or in this country where to be true to one's Christian faith means some secularist bigot organization will try to sue you for the commission of a "hate crime". Shall I go on in terms of those examples?
          And don't tell me with a straight face that Muslims don't try to convert people.
          To bring this back to the original point, drawing from ancient mythology as a McGuffin device for a superheroine was in more respects, nothing more than a convenient budget saver, because having a heroine with the power to control elements meant you only had to use the cheapest of F/X gimmicks to show her defeating the bad guys.

            Violence is a way in which Muslims convert.

              Christians have:
              *Blown up a church in which four black children were in due to wanting revenge for civil right pressures (
              https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/16th_Street_Baptist_Church_bombing
              )
              *Blown up a government building because the federal American government was 'the number of the beast' or some such bullcaca (
              https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timothy_McVeigh
              )
              *Have done a lot of terrorism in many countries around the world, most of it anti-gay (
              https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_terrorism#Contemporary
              )
              Now, what was that about Christian not being terrorists again, you bigoted moron?

                Yes, equally if you're an atheist. And you have the right not to listen and believe what the Christians tell you. Whereas the Muslims force their beliefs on people.
                A Christian hand a religious pamphlet to you while you attend college. Lol, don't tell me that bothered you. At least, they don't chop of your head like Muslims do.
                None of the above drove a car into the front of a mosque in my hometown after 9/11.
                Huh? What are you trying to say here?

                  Err well, muslims do threaten with hellfire to "non-believers".
                  And last time I looked christians didn't fly a plane into a skyscraper murdering thousands or rape little children either.

                    Andrea Thomas was endowed by The Goddess Isis with Her special powers. She was a direct descendant of Pharaoh Hapshepsut. Therefore, this series has roots in Paganism. Which is a growing religion across the globe.

                      It used ancient Egyptian religion as a McGuffin device to give us a superheroine figure. The idea that the series was meant to be an indoctrination tool for kids to take seriously the reality of ancient Egyptian religion is a silly argument whether it comes from the overly paranoid or the ones who like to read too much into what was just fun Saturday morning entertainment.

                        Sorry, but I have to ask, what is a devout atheist?

                          Someone who's intellectually dishonest most of the time. They are usually the kind of people who will deny the fact that Jesus was a real historical figure and think they're brilliant when they say that, when in fact there are a number of non-Biblical sources that confirm that and even honest non-believers concede that point.
