Does anyone else find it weird, even sad…

I do feel like if we look hard enough for something, we'll find it, especially if we already have an image in our mind of what we're looking for.
There are some pretty wild theories out there though, and I've watched some interesting videos on them.

Lol. I never knew Duran Duran did a version of "Bang A Gong".
The Super Tramp 9/11 conspiracy theory is interesting. It was a somewhat cheesy even if slightly artsy band. They never struck me as dastardly. The fool was a Satanist though?
I mean yeah, it's like finding images in clouds. If you look hard enough you can find anything. I do also believe there is some pantheistic possibility here as well, where cultural themes repeat themselves, perhaps even ignoring the dimension of time?
Great post Mister Gee!!!

Thanks…some of the stuff I found is freaky…I'd have to do a separate thread to include it all.
There was a really good source for album covers on a web site dedicated to that subject…I was gonna link that above but it was taken down.
Makes you wonder why such sites are removed if that are just coincidences.
The free mason imagery in music videos and on album covers is more common.
I don't think much about any Satanist claims though.
Power Station was a side project for John Taylor and Andy Taylor…with Robert Palmer fronting them.
Chic members, Tony Thompson and Bernard Edwards make up the rest of the band.

When I think Power Station I think of Duran Duran without Simon Le Bon. I think the name is indicative. New Wave was an artistic punk/synthesizers fusion. But Power Station was Power Rock, a movement I don't really like. They even botched up T Rex's "Bang a Gong". It lost it's 70's glam feel. Bauhuas's "Telegram Sam" is a far superior Marc Bolan cover.
I can't claim to be a Christian. But I did the Satanic thing back in the day. Really, if any of this stuff is true, it's Satanic. And at the core of all occult is Lucifer. I love conspiracy theories.

Well Kenneth Anger tried to take credit for using 911 imagery in is film,
Lucifer Rising
, but he's known for being a BSer…lol
He follows Thelema…it seems a lot of people in the entertainment industry have some ties to Crowley or Jack Parsons in some way.
Maybe it has ties to Parsons' Babalon Working.
I recognize the Brotherhood of Saturn (Fraternitas Saturni) symbolism in the Jefferson Starship vid for,
Winds of Change
, which also includes a tall building collapsing in it.
I like Ministry's cover of
Bang a Gong
Al Jourgensen is very big on conspiracy theories and particularly the Bush administration.

I haven't heard about Anger and 9/11 imagery. But yeah, after the fact there's a lot of bullshit.
Illuminati, secret societies, the Free Masons - there may indeed be an occult cabal surviving from the Middle Ages. I consider Crowley a prophet.
Yeah, Ministry, Industrial over Power Rock any day.

one that disturbed me was when VeeJay, Mark Goodman is discussing iphones in 1981, and says something like it's too early to be talking about them in 1981…long before they existed
I really wanted to believe your conspiracy theory, but I found the video and he was talking about "eye" phones. I think he says "not yet" because he doesn't think it's worth considering as an everyday product. -

you see, this is why i hate black people so much. This thread has nothing to do with #blacklivesmatter but this black woman had to make it about #blacklivesmatter. Is it existential cry out to the universe? "Black lives matter!" "Yeah bruh we already knnow that all humans and animal and plant lives matter too and don't forget the insects and covid bacteria!"

A few months ago someone posted a link about someone getting caught raising or donating funds to ISIS (or trying to). I don't remember the details. Lara commented it was a shame she got caught.
He's a scumbag. He was roundly excoriated for it, but he denied it later. He may have deleted the evidence. I think Margo remembers.
