I believe it was somewhat touched that Henry lived in Chicago and was having marriage problems and wanted to have his son played by Gary Coleman to be watched after by George and Louise. That was in the episode "Uncle George and Aunt Louise" season 4 episode 22.

In the three part episode where the burglar ties them up while he ransacks their house (hope he got caught!) they mention their time in Queens. Another moment where Archie is mentioned is in Where's Papa? from 1979. George was hypnotized so he could go back in time to his dad's funeral and mention where his dad was buried. Anyway, at one point, the hypnotist takes him back to the time he lived in Queens and George yells out, "Damn it Bunker! You are the most prejudiced bigot I ever met! Don't be (raspberry) at me!" He keeps going until the hypnotist stops him and asks Louise who Bunker is and when he is told he goes, "Sounds like a real meathead." Louise did mention Bunker's wife was nice. That was the only other time.

Henry Jefferson was also shown during the "George and Louise In a Bind" three part retro clip show. One clip they shown was "Henry's Farewell" from All In The Family and he was shown in it for one or two seconds. I guess that's probably the CLOSEST you can get to having him actually on the Jeffersons show

In
All In The Family's
Lionel Moves Into The Neighborhood,
Louise mentioned to Jim Bowman that her sister talked to the lawyers, implying that she either WAS on speaking terms with her estranged sister Maxine or she had ANOTHER sister. It's more than likely just more spin off continuity. Oh well, those things happen.
What are you gonna do?

It is the idea that they do not go back and remember what was said earlier. Maybe they figure people won't remember or something. I wish more shows did continuity, but I guess it isn't a top priority. Another case is with the Muppet movies. The last Muppet film supposedly had Miss Piggy marry Kermit (okay it was the imposter), but I thought they did that already in Muppets Take Manhattan. I guess they just decided to reboot it each time, which I don't like with them.

Not to get off the
Jeffersons
topic, but as far as
Muppets Take Manhattan,
I just always assumed that they were doing a Broadway play and that the wedding was just the last scene of the play that they were doing which means that the marriage never really existed. It would be about as real as Demon Evans and Berlinda Tolbert actually being married when their characters were getting married in
The Christmas Wedding
