Who can name the four other worst female roles in film history? Please no cheesy horror movies in the list. I want pure evil females.

"Harriet Craig", Eve Harrington in "All About Eve" Mrs Taggert in "The Anniversary" and Nurse Ratched. Yeah, we need more wicked females on screen.

Those are all really good picks. Though I found Eve a little bland (probably because I've always found Anne Baxter a little bland)

Yeah, because Eve Harrington had to put up a false front of virtue to worm her way into Margo Channing's life. No one is that self abnegating.

Hey Racsal Awesome choice! Of course, I assume that your answer was tongue in cheek! I LOOOOOVE Ida in "Motel Hell"! Everything she did was funny. I probably first saw "Motel Hell" when it was on HBO and I was probably around twelve, and I am sure I was just fascinated. Ida and Vincent are the two nicest killers around!

Hey Drink, Of course it was. Just like the marvellous horror\comedy that MOTEL HELL is. I was reading the director changed the original script from a dark and violent horror film, to what he ended up giving us and by amping up the black humor.
Nancy Parsons and Rory Calhoun got along really well and the chemistry between them clicks. Ida was still pretty freaky though and I loved the telling expressions on her face, when she was trying to be charming and you could see the gleam of the devil behind her facade.
I saw this in the very early 80's when I was around 14/15 in Auckland NZ. It was screening at an old repertory cinema that wasn't allowed to screen first releases. It was the first R18 film I saw at a cinema, so it also holds some nostalgic value. They just wanted my money and didn't even ask for ID. The funny thing is, I had just been refused a ticket for an R16 horror double feature at one the mainstream cinemas. Don't know why it was R18, but the films was awesome nonetheless. Must've been the cannibal theme.

                            We've come full circle, Rascal!
I'd love to see Ida circling Nurse Ratchet, who's getting more and more nervous by the minute until finally Ida says in her deadpan way "You'd make a nice Christmas goose!" and then sticks an apple in her mouth and slaps NR to the ground and cackles!

I'm not being cute, but one might argue Anthony Perkins as Mrs. Bates in Psycho. Even is she was long since dead, the psychiatrist argued that he was keeping her alive and one can argue that Mrs. Bates, NOT Norman, killed Marion, Arbogast, and two other people.
