Does anyone know why, in the end credits, it says there's a play version of
the movie, but it makes no mention of the book? Or does it mention the book in
the beginning? I've seen this movie 4 times but I missed the opening credits
this time. I'm just wondering. Thanks.

There is a credit to the novel in the opening title sequence "based on the novel by Ken Kesey". I'm watching the movie right now and came here to look up trivia and came to the boards.
