A+. Terrific performance. Sissy Spacek made the viewer totally sympathize with and feel sorry for Carrie.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.

I agree. The Carrie in the book was not all that likable. Also I am a big fan of Brian DePalma.

Nancy hasn't done anything to change her looks to try and look younger. I've always thought she was so pretty

Spacek was born to play Carrie White.
She was cleaned up a bit from the novel, but made the role her own. There really aren’t many performances of this kind that could top it.
