Favorite TV shows that never made it passed Season 1?

I would add to the list:
Moonlight- A really good vampire show for the above 14 crowd
Pushing Daisies- I love Bryan Fuller's work
Eerie, Indiana- I really thought this series had a lot of potential.
I like sci fi shows and supernatural shows, I am so sick of the nightly crime dramas and the reality television talent shows and remodeling and workout shows and cooking shows and all the other boring stuff. There is never enough sci fi on TV for true fans. -

Firefly
Moonlight
Invasion
Dead Last
Jericho (I know, technically it had 2 ssns, but I don't really consider ssn 2 "season" as much as I consider it an ending to ssn 1)

Lazarus man!
Surprised nobody has mentioned it. I really enjoyed it for the short time it was on our screens, damn shame it never had a chance to really get going but the circumstances of its cancellation were pretty tragic and understandable.

I believe Clone High was intended to be only one season. More than one season would be too much, specially the way it ended.
Pushing Daisies, as mentioned by BuffySchultz2004 was really awesome. It actually had two seasons, but like how Sarcophilus said of Jericho the second season was too hurried, the reason I, despite being a hugh fan of Pushing Daisies, never bothered to watch it. It's like meeting a great person for the first time in one day, then the next day going to his funeral because he died that morning. It would be too depressing to watch the funeral of Pushing Daisies, knowing that not even Ned could reanimate it with his touch. -

I am surprised no one mentioned kings, I saw the first episode on late night tv and was sucked into it, sadly I moved countries and never saw past episode 7. Even though the series was never completed I still would have liked to see the rest of the shows. and of course then there is firefly.

I suppose. Much like what happened on DUCKMAN, I hate it when show's try to end with cliffhangers.

I'll echo Firefly, as it's the obvious answer here.
I'd like to add Caprica, which was awesome. I also really liked Tru Calling and Defying Gravity.
Several good shows have been mentioned which actually got into its 2nd season: Cleopatra 2525, Jack of All Trades, Jericho, Pushing Daisies. Liked them all but they did make it passed their first season.
Hard to say how many of them are really considered cult shows
