If You Were a Director, What Would Be Your Hallmarks?

Many of the great directors have used the same actors in a number their films.
Hitchcock, Scorsese, Altman come to mind….
You go right ahead and use the lovely Winnie in each and every one of your films!
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

- Improvised script
- Not much music. It's a cheap way to elicit an emotional response.
- No color filters. Natural light when possible.
- No CGI
- Natural dialogue. Nothing too snappy. Mostly silence.
- Normal looking people. No one above a 6, just like in real life.
- Bleak atmosphere, just like in real life.
- Mundane subject matter, like going to the store or cleaning a kitchen. Might lead somewhere, might not. You only know if you watch.
- Short. Hour and a half tops.

Every movie, no matter the genre would have a scene in which the protagonist randomly pulls down their pants and spreads their butthole for the camera.
Buttholes are never seen outside of pornographic movies so I want to pioneer their inclusion in mainstream cinema.

Are we talking about horror movies or wot? Epic scores, twists, no happy endings.. I'd go for psychological attacks over jump scares as for me personally it is the only thing that destroys me when it comes to movies. Jump scares and creepy music are nothing in comparison to how a decent movie leaves you feeling once it's over. I would want my audience to be destroyed. Absolutely devastated. Too upset for icecream afterwards.

A little while ago, I wrote a detailed outline for my own attempt at creating the most disturbing film ever made - one that would not only far exceed every other "sickest movie ever made" in terms of on-screen depravity, but would also tell an emotionally devastating story filled with truly heartbreaking pathos. The reactions that it got from the very few people who read it (one of whom said that she couldn't even read all of it) told me that I did exactly what I set out to do. I wasn't aiming for
August Underground's Mordum
-style gorenography trash, stringing together a bunch of ridiculously over-the-top depravity at random so that teenagers can challenge each other to watch "da sickest movee evar!!11!1!". I was not aiming to create some juvenile Halloween party item. Rather, I was aiming to create a thoughtful, intelligent, and deeply upsetting film that forces viewers to confront the unspeakably horrific reality of the unspeakably horrific world that we live in and leaves them feeling like they need to crawl into a corner and die.
Most of the detailed film outlines that I've written revolve around similar characters and have many similar hallmarks, but some of them are far more benign. -

I wouldn't be a director.
Too much responsibility and I just don't have the intelligence or talent that would go with it.
Instead I would be one of the blue collars like a grip or best boy.
Actually I think it would be a lot of fun getting the props for a movie.

I knew you. You didn't know me.
There was a friend of mine who thought you were a girl because of your avatar and was in love with you

Because you were so intelligent
Also, you can become a director. It's possible. Like Kubrick. You have the potential.

Even the most hideous characters (like child molesters and serial killers) would be portrayed in a neutral manner as three-dimensional human beings.
🤨
Still trolling I see. Just don't pretend to be a jihadi supporter again and give them tips

My protagonist would usually be a young girl, and my protagonist would never be a quote-unquote "normal" individual. A perfect example of my typical protagonist: a detached, emotionless, hyper-intelligent, and sexually abused 11-year-old albino girl from a family of Georgian immigrants who begins filming suicides and posting them on the internet
Stuff like this you posted made my friend think you were a girl
