The Hour-Glass Sanatorium sounds interesting, but it's not on netflix. Damn.

      Well, try getting
      The Saragossa Manuscript
instead. Same director, not as radical, but wonderfully strange.

i don't know if i'd consider gaspar noe's films obscure. he's among the top 3 (along with haneke and von trier) discussed european filmmakers of the past 5 years. also, i know peter greenaway's popularity has waned since the 90s, but i still wouldn't consider any of his films, in paritcular "the theif, the cook, his wife, and her lover" obscure.
however, hats off for giving "buddy boy," "next door," and "kontrol" their proper dues.

Sorry, but no. I find them all interesting. Just look them all up and pick the ones that seem interesting to you.

i recently watches a czech movies called "Daisies" that was great.
"Antichrist" is great, but not obscure all of Lars Von Trier movies are great.
                "Visitor Q" is odd
the new movie "Mother" from korea was kind of conventional but still very weird. maybe i just think any movie from asia is weird.
"House (hausu)" this is asian and CERTAINLY weird
"Gummo" is really good and so is "Julian Donkey Boy" by the same director.
"Southland Tales" by the director of "Donnie Darko" is great, not terrible as most people believe, lol
"Tromeo and Juliet" i haven't seen it yet, but yeah, its weird
well, those are just some that i could think of

                  Bunuel, Resnais, Lynch, Bergman.Good list!
Jodorowsky's films must be added too
                  The Holy Mountain (1973)
                  El Topo (1970)
                  Santa Sangre (1989)
I don't think Häxan is that strange but maybe you are thinking about the William S. Burroughs version? Speaking of Burroughs, Decoder (1984) must be mentioned. Awesome film! Liquid Sky (1982) is great too.

I would like to suggest adding the directors and/or year of films. It would be helpful to pinpoint the recommendations. Thanks!

Black Moon (1975) and The Tin Drum (1979) are both excellent strange movies.
