I'm in an experimental class this semester, and yesterday my teacher went over a couple of methods to mess up the film, but make it still look cool (nail polish or tape and bleach, scratching it, sharpies and alcohol)
What are some other methods to make already processed film look cool?
    Thanks!

Depends. Are you planning on optically or contact printing the film? If so, you can beep up your film in more ways than a NASA engineer can count, but if you don't reprint your film, you may not be able to project it.
btw, out of curiosity, what school are you in (or state)?

What kind of film should I use if I contact print?
        I'm at SF State.
