      Paddy Chayefsky, David Peoples. It seems like every screenwriter who has a great movie also comes out with trash. They say most of the screenplay will change between it being finished and the final cut of the film so maybe their scripts were brilliant but ruined by directors and producers but I wonder if some of them just get lucky.
